Gomti Nagar
Experiential Learning at Gomti Nagar
A Dedicated 3,500 sq. ft. Play & Discovery Zone
At the Gomti Nagar branch, Staford Preschool has created a dedicated experiential play and learning environment of approximately 3,500 sq. ft. designed specifically for children aged 2 to 6 years. This thoughtfully planned space is an integral part of our iExplore and iConnect programs and goes far beyond a conventional play area.
This zone allows children to learn by doing, exploring, role-playing, and collaborating, all within a safe, age-appropriate, and educator-guided environment.
What Makes This Play Area Unique?
Unlike typical indoor play zones, this space is designed as a miniature real-world ecosystem where children engage with familiar environments and social roles through play.
Real-Life Role Play Zones Include:
⛽ Gas Station
Understanding routines, sequencing & everyday systems💇 Salon
Self-expression, communication & social confidence🏥 Hospital
Empathy, care-giving & emotional awareness🚓 Police Station

Each zone is designed to spark imagination while introducing children to real-world concepts, vocabulary, routines, and social interactions in a playful and pressure-free manner.

🚦 Traffic Lights & Signals

Rules, patience & turn-taking🛣️ Road Track
Spatial awareness, movement & coordination
These experiences are embedded naturally into daily activities, making learning intuitive and memorable.
How This Space Supports Our Learning Pillars
iExplore – Curiosity-Led Learning
This play zone is a key learning environment for iExplore, where children:
Engage in open-ended, curiosity-driven exploration
Learn through sensory experiences, movement, and role play. Learn by exploring, touching, moving, and imagining
Develop early cognitive skills such as observation, problem-solving, and cause-and-effect.
Build early thinking, language, and problem-solving skills
Build language and communication skills through storytelling and pretend play
Children are encouraged to ask questions, try new roles, and explore ideas at their own pace.
iConnect – Learning Together Through Social Interaction
The same environment also strongly supports iConnect, where children:
Play collaboratively with peers in shared spaces
Practice cooperation, sharing, and turn-taking
Learn empathy by taking on different social roles
Develop confidence in group interactions
Teachers facilitate group activities and guided play scenarios, helping children connect their experiences with real-life social understanding.
Designed for Early Childhood Development (Ages 2–6)
Every element of this play area is:
Age-appropriate
Safe and supervised
Aligned with early childhood developmental milestones
The layout encourages both independent exploration and group engagement, allowing children to grow socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively.
Why a Dedicated Play Area Matters
At Staford Preschool, we believe play is not separate from learning—it is learning.
This specially designed environment:
Bridges classroom learning with real-world understanding
Makes abstract ideas concrete and memorable
- Keeps children engaged, motivated, and happy at school
- Transforms play into meaningful learning
- Builds confidence, curiosity, social awareness and independence from an early age
Makes learning joyful, active, and engaging
At Staford Preschool, play is not an add-on — it is a core part of how children learn.
A Space Where Exploration Meets Connection
Our Gomti Nagar experiential play zone reflects our belief that children learn best when they are engaged, curious, and connected. By integrating real-world experiences into our iExplore and iConnect programs, we ensure that every child learns not just academically—but meaningfully.
