Staford Preschool
Framework for Learning
At Staford Schools, learning is designed as a continuous, age-appropriate journey from early childhood through middle school after which we transition to the CBSE framework. Our pedagogy is built on three clearly defined and interlinked pillars—iExplore, iConnect, and iLearn—which together shape how children experience learning, how teachers facilitate it, and how environments support it.
Learning through Exploration & Experience
Learning through collaboration
Learning through guided, hands-on curriculum
These pillars are consistent across all Staford schools while being developmentally adapted from Playgroup to Grade VIII, ensuring continuity, clarity, and progression. The three pillars work together to support a child’s curiosity, confidence, social development, and academic readiness.
Learning Environment as a Partner
At Staford, the learning environment acts as a third facilitator. Classrooms, corridors, play areas, and common spaces are intentionally designed to support exploration, collaboration, and focused learning. Spaces evolve as children grow, ensuring alignment with developmental needs at every stage.
Assessment and Progression
Assessment at Staford is continuous, age-appropriate, and purposeful. Early years focus on observation and developmental milestones. Primary grades blend formative assessment with skill tracking. Middle school incorporates subject-wise assessment, reflection, and application.
Assessment informs instruction, supports individual growth, and ensures readiness for the next stage of learning.
“At Staford, children explore with curiosity, learn together
with confidence, and understand concepts deeply.”
How the Three Pillars Work Together
A continuous cycle of exploring, connecting, and understanding.
iExplore, iConnect, and iLearn are not isolated stages but a continuous cycle. Children explore ideas, connect with peers, and build understanding-repeating this cycle at increasing levels of depth and complexity as they grow.
This framework ensures that every Staford learner develops as a curious explorer, confident collaborator, and capable learner, prepared for academic success and lifelong learning.
